Homeschooling, 2nd assignment in History...

I am in the need to just write something, even if it is about school. Today I worked one assingment ahead in my History and Writing classes, and I am relaxing a little bit before I have to get back to work on my History essay. Writing is finished for now (Thank God, I didn't know how much more of those videos I could take). Well for my essay in History I have to write about what I thought were successes and failures in the reconstruction, but I really don't know at the moment, well I do, but I am not sure how I am going to say it all, so I am here, on this thing, just writing about it, cause I don't know why actually...

So far all that comes to mind for my History writing project is a sarcastic way to write it, like someone that was a supporter of the Confederates, but I know they don't really have that in mind, but they never specified that it HAD to be someone from the Union, then again its not really the type of essay where you are someone from that time, you are just saying your opinion, kinda... What if the person thought that all the efforts to abolish slavery were not successes, I think that they are mind you, but what if someone didn't think so? Wouldn't they then write it in the way of saying all of those successes, in my opinion, were in fact failures? Who knows, but all I am saying is that maybe, by some wild card chance, someone totally disagreed and got this same assignment and completely misunderstand it... Maybe I am thinking to much, its hard for me to even imagine someone thinking that slavery is okay, when its really not.

Hmmm, I am not sure what else to say... So far I have one sentence down for my three to five paragraph essay... Not very much I know... I should get started on it, but I am not sure where to begin... President Lincoln, I just found out today that there is an "l" in his name... That is sort of sad, a man that was once ran this country and I didn't know how to spell his last name.

Okay I am on the phone and now no longer thinking about this. Bye-bye.

Stereotype.

Today I was stereotyped. Now I am the big bad USA bitch because I got mad at them for stereotyping me to be just like everyone else, that I think the same way as everyone else. They asked me a question and I replied truthfully that I didn't know and I wanted to know more about it, but some how my letters and words were rearranged to be something to do with what everyone else thinks. I never said that, as you just read. Now I am abusive, now I am terrible, now I am someone to watch out for, someone that thinks for herself; is that a crime now? Do I have to fit every discription someone else has thought or said? A stereotype, now I am lower then anyone else in the world, I shame America, of course I do because I got mad, of course I would shame them for standing up and saying that I never said that and that I hate stereotypes. Of course, I am just that big bad side of American society. I am the one that SUPPORTS our troops, that prays for them to be safe, the one that hopes to make somesort of difference. I am horrible, simply horrible. I am that big bad person, "the typical American" as some would say. I am what you say I am, isn't that right all of you who think that Americans are idiotic. I am part of that percentage aren't I? I am just another one to put down in your "Bad Experiences Rocord Book" because I didn't agree. So now it is okay for you to hate me because I didn't keep quiet, that makes total sense, especially because you asked my opinion and when I gave you my answer it must have meant exactly what you said. I am abusive, I am what you say I am, aren't I? Of course I am. I am the stereotype. You know, the one that supports my country, that takes pride in my country. You pressed a button, NO ONE DESERVES TO BE STEREOTYPED!

stereotype -

A too-simple and therefore distorted image of a group, such as “Football players are stupid” or “The English are cold and unfriendly people.”
